Welcome to Asian Professional Security Training Institute.

Asian Professional Security Training Institute, a not-for-profit Training Body, was created by executive members of ASIAN PROFESSIONAL SECURITY ASSOCIATION- Hong Kong Chapter in July 2010 with aims at improving standards of professionalism and access to security training and security qualifications for everyone working in the private security sector.

Today approximately a quarter million HONG KONG people are employed in security roles in the private security sector. The private security sector encompasses a wide variety of security occupations, ranging from the traditional uniformed security officer to highly skilled technicians installing security systems alarms. They include Cash & Valuables in Transit; Cash Processors; CCTV Operators; Close Protection Officers; Property Management Supervisors; Event Security Officers; Locksmiths; Private Investigators; Security Consultants; Security Dog Handlers; Security Officers; Security and Risk Management; Security and Fire Systems Installers; Technical Surveillance Counter Measures etc… All these positions require different skills and techniques to fulfill their jobs in a competent, effective and professional manner.

Asian Professional Security Training Institute provides security training courses, training resources, examinations processing, research, advice and information, and communication channels to government and regulatory bodies. In addition to providing security training courses at our training venue, Asian Professional Security Training Institute will also arrange cost-effective in-company security courses for organizations requiring training at their own premises.
